In the elegant setting of the Fresco Hall in the Economics Library, numerous members of the faculty officially welcomed the two professors. Even though both have been strenghening the faculty for a long time, the ceremonial welcome only now took place, not least due to the pandemic. Derya Uysal presented her research in a talk with the title "Econometric Strategies for Discovering Causation from Observation", Emanuel Hansen's talk's title was "Redistributive Taxation: From Basic Research to Policy Advice". The dean, Davide Cantoni, hosted the evening.
